The Role:

GAP Pump, Power & Environmental division provides advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for water treatment, dewatering and sewerage pump applications including a large range of hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions.

As an Environmental Treatment Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the region by ensuring that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it through the efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of wastewater treatment equipment within the GAP fleet.

As part of our high-performing team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting water treatment systems. In addition, you will carry out routine service and maintenance of the equipment, including safety checks, testing and pre & post-hire inspections.

This role is predominantly workshop based however you will also attend customer sites as/when required.

*Please note, the ideal candidate would be located within commutable distance to our Harthill depot.

About You

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

• Proven experience within waste water treatment is essential
• Sound and current knowledge of water treatment equipment is highly desirable however specific product training will be provided
• CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• A flexible attitude to suit the changing needs of the region
• A valid driving licence is essential
