The Role:
GAP Group have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Trenching & Shoring – Operations to lead, develop and drive performance across our Trenching & Shoring Division. This newly created post will have full strategic operational responsibility for the Division.
Working alongside the Head of Trenching & Shoring – Sales and the Managing Director for Technical & Environmental Services, the successful candidate will develop and deliver the division's growth strategy whilst recruiting and developing a team of Trenching & Shoring specialists. The post holder will develop operational best practices across the division nationally whilst identifying new products to meet our customer's needs and create opportunities to become a market leader in Trenching & Shoring.
About You
Successful applicants must demonstrate the following:
• Significant regional operations management experience within Trenching & Shoring
• Technical expertise and a good understanding of temporary works CAD drawings
• Strong business acumen with a proven track record in winning and developing new business
• Effective communicator with the ability to lead and develop teams on a national level
• Driving Licence (essential)
Frequent travel and overnight stays throughout the UK will be an integral part of the role.
