About the role

The Role

If you're analytical, commercially minded, and keen to build a long-term career within Asset Management, this is an opportunity to start strong.

We're looking for motivated graduates to join GAP Group's Asset Management & Supply Chain function – a critical area supporting fleet performance, cost control, and operational efficiency across the business.
You don't need a specific degree background to apply, although a Business background would be advantageous. What matters most is your interest in supply chain, asset management, and operational performance, your willingness to learn, and your drive to progress. As part of our commitment to your development, we'll support and fund relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CIPS/OLAT) to help you build a strong professional pathway.

Based in Glasgow, you'll gain hands-on experience across multiple disciplines while working with experienced mentors and contributing to real business decision-making from day one. By the end of the programme, you won't just understand the Asset Management function, you'll have the skills, confidence, and experience to make a genuine impact.

About You

What You'll Be Doing

• Gaining hands-on experience across Asset Management & Supply Chain functions including Procurement, Transport, Damage & Loss, and Fleet Disposals.
• Supporting procurement activities, supplier engagement, cost analysis and asset lifecycle decision-making.
• Working with transport and logistics teams to support fleet movements, utilisation and efficiency.
• Analysing damage and loss trends, supporting investigations and contributing to prevention initiatives.
• Assisting with fleet disposal activities including valuations, reporting and disposal processes.
• Using data to support operational and commercial decision-making.
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects that drive efficiency and performance across the fleet.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for graduates who are eager to develop a career in asset management and supply chain operations, including:
• A degree in any discipline.
• A genuine interest in supply chain, asset management, logistics or commercial operations.
• Strong analytical skills with confidence working with data and systems.
• Good communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
• Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
• A team-focused attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

About Us

Why Join GAP?

You'll be joining an industry leader that's growing and genuinely committed to developing its people. GAP Group is the UK's leading equipment hire provider, supporting projects across construction, infrastructure, events and specialist services.

As a family-run business with over 50 years of experience, we offer:
