The Role

Our team is the best in the industry – is it time for you to join us?

GAP Pump & Power Services Division provide advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for generators, dewatering & sewerage pump applications. This includes a large range of hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions.

Based in a busy and fast-paced depot, the Administrator will support the Pumps & Power division's nationwide operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn new skills, build technical and commercial knowledge, and develop a long-term career within a growing and dynamic business.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and grow business from existing GAP customers while securing new customers to help the division meet and exceed budget targets.
• Manage pump enquiries, providing technical expertise and ensuring customer requirements are accurately assessed and verified.
• Support the successful acquisition of new work by delivering cost-effective and practical pumping solutions.
• Prepare detailed and accurate quotations in a timely manner.
• Liaise effectively with Operations and Sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication via telephone, email, and written correspondence.
• Create, maintain, and regularly update the division's sales pipeline and enquiry log to support business growth and forecasting.

About You

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience in a high-volume administration role
• Experience maintaining accurate records and using Smart Office is highly desirable
• Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating price renewals would be highly beneficial however full training will be provided
• A customer-focussed approach to work and delivering gold-standard service
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintaining strong attention to detail
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
