The Role

Our safety team is the best in the industry – is it time for you to join us?

The Role:

Working in our Safety, Health, Environment, Risk & Compliance Team, the Senior Safety Health & Environment (SHE) Advisor will advise and support the delivery of a Group wide progressive SHE management programme. The focus for this role will suit a candidate who has a passion for, and experience in, developing safe systems of work, procedures, audits and investigation reports.

This post may also suit a Liability Adjuster with safety experience.

Based anywhere Midlands or South West, the role will involve extensive travel across our UK depot network.

About You

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

• Experience of working within a Health & Safety Advisor role or as a Liability Adjuster with safety experience
• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of safety, occupational health and environmental legislation
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbally, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Audit, monitoring, investigation and report writing skills
• Working knowledge of ISO accreditation standards
• Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritises effectively
• Full UK Driving Licence
