The Role:

Our Events Division combines the expertise of all GAP divisions to provide a one stop shop to supply the Events industry across the UK with all their equipment requirements.
The Service Delivery Manager will support the operational team to ensure the seamless execution of event contracts. The main focus of the role will be to drive efficiencies and improve the overall service delivery within the division.
You will assist with daily operational activities including logistics planning, team scheduling and resource allocation and provide direct support to the operations team in resolving operational challenges, ongoing issues and queries. You will be the point of contact for depots, ensuring clear communications and accuracy in the allocation of resources and monitor rehire related issues, ensuring all rehire invoice queries are resolved within 7 days of receipt. You will also be involved in sourcing and ordering consumables and arranging labour resources for events when required.

About You

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
• The ability to work to tight deadlines in a high pressure environment
• The desire and ability to continually improve operational processes
• Excellent MS Office skills and strong reporting experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders
• Previous experience in the hire sector would be highly advantageous as would a knowledge of the outdoor events industry
